March 30: Women of Color Empowerment Brunch (Durham)

The Women of Color Empowerment Brunch provides a safe space for women who identify with the African diaspora to fellowship over food and positive energy while discussing issues that affect their lives and well-being as Black women and women of color. The intention is to provide a space for conversation, education, and leadership, as well as empowerment.
The brunch will feature Durham County Commissioner Brenda Howerton, North Carolina Supreme Court Justice Anita Earls, and former Black Panther Chair & CEO of Oakland & the World Enterprises Elaine Brown. The mistress of ceremonies will be Omisade Burney-Scott and a host of others
